Yes. I was skeptical of my boyfriend's delusional statements about gravity-defying shoes. But with an increasingly painful R-knee and the occasional lower back issue, I got on my feet and bought a pair of these gravity-defying Ion shoes. They arrived quickly and well packaged and included complimentary orthotics and an extra pillow. They also had very good getting started guides, guiding customers to make orthotics easier to wear by putting them on first for short periods and then for longer periods while they were being broken in. I personally didn't have to do this and found them very comfortable. when wearing it for the first time (I immediately pulled in the orthopedic insoles and the lining). My friend who recommended them told me that many of his UPS drivers wear them all day for comfort and relief from knee, ankle or back pain, so I'm hoping for the same benefits. but so far so good. The only caveat I could make is that these shoes (with orthotics and a cushion inserted) are slightly higher off the ground than regular tennis or athletic shoes. So they actually make you about an inch taller than you could be in regular shoes, but it's also important to properly "lift" your feet when walking as they can tend to catch up with you a bit, especially if you're walking heavily floor, carpet. flooring! So if you're used to just "shuffling," these shoes actually encourage you to lift your feet properly when walking in general. But again they are very comfortable as I took them for a 2 1/2 mile walk in the park after getting them with no problem. In my opinion, they are definitely worth trying. LR Allen
