so pretty! I ordered a similar set last year , also at Pfaltzgraff. It had a shabby "old country house" look but was disappointing in person. So I was a bit nervous about ordering this set but god I didn't have to worry. That's great! The bowls and cups are nice but the plates really make this set. They are square (or diamond shaped depending on orientation) and have a delicate pattern around the edges. They are hand painted so the plates in the set will have slight differences. These plates are very thin and light which makes them special and unique.The set I received had two broken cups.I emailed Pfaltzgraff about the damage and their customer service was fantastic!They ordered a replacement for me and a few days later I had a new set on my doorstep! And this time there were no debris, scratches and chips. Simply perfect cookware! The cups are nice to hold, as are the bowls, but then again, the real beauty here is in these cute plates. This stunning dinnerware set seems so special to me that I think I'll save it for the holidays and other special occasions. Of course it's durable enough for everyday use, but I want to keep the unicorns in this set. I really love it! Highly recommended!
