I've been cutting my hair for over 20 years. I have used various hairdressing scissors in the past and in recent years good office scissors because the blades were comparable and I preferred much larger holes for a multi-finger grip. I decided to try these and I'm glad I did. The blades are way better than anything I've used before. It's much easier for me to cut a strand of hair. I can finish work faster with less effort. Update April 2021: After two years of cutting hair for a family of four, mostly thick Asian hair, these scissors are still stunningly sharp and bleed even with a slight pinch. My finger is at an obtuse angle. It shouldn't be that spicy for so long, but that's okay because I'm a warrior!
