Hi-Fi stereo sound you say? You say less than 50 dollars? Truth? I'm a musician and music lover and I've spent years looking to no avail for a pair of wireless headphones under $50 that sound really good. There are so many positive reviews on here about the amazing quality of this couple and all of them are absolutely legit without a doubt. They are going back. They are made of sheet metal and cardboard with a limited production volume. I have a $10 Philips pair of cables that sound better and louder when loaded. Honestly, you could do worse than this. They're comfortable and work well in terms of functionality, and they're decent enough for phone calls. For that I give them 3 stars. On the plus side, I think they at least don't get loud enough for cheap drivers to distort. But at best they don't sound better than usual for this price range, so not that good. It really does seem like what you're paying for here has more to do with the electronics than the sound quality. You know those cakes and pastries that you find in the bakery section of the supermarket – that always look great on the shelf but don't end up tasting as good as in a real bakery? It is like it is. Here's Key Foods' semi-unflavored slice of yellow pie, although you should have tried Sweet Lady Jane's triple berry shortbread instead. HiFi stands for "High Fidelity", which means faithful or accurate sound reproduction. . Apparently these people have never heard of HiFi headphones, because that's far from the case. It's also clear that many consumers get used to low standards fairly easily. Those who are blown away by their sound clearly can't compare them to anything good. Do what you will with your money but for those who don't care about being sold this is to HiFi what an old transistor radio is to THX. Maybe it's a little overkill, but not by much. Anyway, you get the picture. Calling them "HiFi" is like putting a go-kart engine in a Mercedes and then touting all its goodness except what matters. In fact, there's "good for the price" and there's REALLY good. If you know something about really good headphones, but all you want is mediocre wireless sound at a great price - or, to put it bluntly, you're thankfully ignorant - then by all means settle for these. They're really good at it, no kidding. However, if you want true hi-fi sound, fine. You should probably expect to spend a little more money unfortunately.
