I liked this product the first 2 weeks. I almost bought another one. However, the upper part broke off in the 3rd week. I follow the instructions - do not wash in the dishwasher and do not immerse in liquid. I ALWAYS hold the jar upright so the top NEVER submerges in the liquid. However, for some reason the top fell apart. When I open a jar, part of the lid comes off and the other part doesn't. As if the heat from the contents would melt the glue holding the top together. I have not reported a problem or attempted to return the item, believing it to be a one-off item. Had not. I've been using this jar for about 4 weeks now and the lid is permanently broken. As a result, the liquid in the glass does not stay hot. My tea never stays warm for an hour. In theory, this is a great glass, but it quickly broke and was no longer usable. It was a waste of money.
