Review on TERAPUMP Power Water Fuel Transfer Battery Pump: Streamlined Auto-Stop Technology for Effortless Usage by Tom Tofte

Very quiet, stylish design and works exactly as described!

I needed a small battery powered pump to circulate a 5 gallon bucket of solution when I came across two versions of TeraPump's siphon pumps. One version runs on 2 AA batteries and the other runs on 2 XD batteries. The TeraPump seemed to have great reviews, although in the reviews I saw a model with the larger, more expensive TRHD03 that had the better design. Since the price didn't vary much and I knew D batteries would last longer, I went with the TRHD03. I've been using it for half a day, it works without any complaints. Of course, this is a short period of time, but first impressions are important. The design is very elegant and I was surprised at how quiet the motor was. The flow was definitely enough for my use (remember I only use it for recirculation) and the built in clamp on the outlet hose was handy for securing it to the rim of the bucket. I see that an auto shut off sensor can be very handy to automatically shut off the pump when the discharge side is full, but for my use this wasn't necessary. I'd actually like to disable it, but I know I'm in the minority here on how to use it. Well packaged, assembly took less than a minute. The pump even comes with a handy manual that includes part numbers in case something breaks or wears out. I can definitely recommend this practical pump!
