Firstly compared to other vendors the price was fair for the amount of light you get. However, I have two major issues that I want to know about before purchasing. First, although it's over 300 feet long, most of the wire is good and thick and strong, but somewhere along it gets thinner and not very strong. I'm not sure if it will withstand the bumps. Second, there is no way to unravel this mess. It doesn't split easily and I've never been able to straighten the knots. After playing around with it for hours, all I had to do was tuck all the knots and tangles into my tree. I bought 2 strands of 300+ feet. My advice to everyone - get shorter strands because long ones are an absolute nightmare. I wish I could return the longer ones and buy the shorter ones, but I didn't have time. I won't be bothering with these longer ones next year.
