TL;DR While this product isn't perfect, it works for me better than any other phone holder I've tried in my 2009 Hyundai Sonata. Watch out for phone overheating on longer drives. The construction is very stable and of high quality and I like to have my screen for GPS right in front of me. Easy to put in and take out your phone. The only thing that bothers me is that it puts the phone on the dashboard directly in the sun and the clip doesn't really block it. So when I drive for a long time, sometimes my phone overheats. It's still better than those that stick to the windshield and fall off when the glass heats up. I broke my phone screen like that. I also like it more than the vent clip because of the position. I don't want to block the air and the phone can also get too hot or too cold depending on the air coming out unless you disable that vent. In this case you will not get any air from this vent.
