I bought three of these last year. THREE. I keep buying them because they really fit perfectly. Cozy. Battery with a long service life. VERY, very light, the nut never slips left or right. The size is just right for my ears. I sometimes wear them when I sleep (I'm a light sleeper and the constant buzzing helps me rest without waking my wife). The in-ear design and small speaker/canister sit comfortably and block out just enough noise that (for me) I don't need real ANC. They fit comfortably under my collar but don't look out of place or flashy in social situations. Good construction, etc., etc., etc., etc. Really love them and can't say enough good things about them. But there is one fatal flaw: you should never get wet. I don't mean sweaty. I mean MOISTURE. My story with this model: I dropped one in a puddle while pulling something out of my pocket in the rain. Since then, the left earbud has about 5% the volume of the right one. I sent it back as defective, not matching the previous day's case back then. One morning I put the second set by the sink to get ready and spilled water all over the left side (the side with all the buttons). . From now on, they won't hold a charge for more than 5 minutes of gameplay before turning off. That's when I put 2-and-2 together and realized the connection to water. Since it was my fault I didn't send them back. I just paid for the third set. If I know they have water issues, I should be able to protect them, right? There was another disaster in the third set on a rainy day when I got wet under my shirt (I tried to protect it but I think I only made it worse). allow water to penetrate) and from that day on will not be charged for more than a few minutes before they turn off, even if they have been charged all night. Of course, they were never advertised as being fully sealed and submerged. /swim-ready, so I have to take a lot of the blame for HOW WET I got them. I'm just warning the buyer to take precautions when using it near water. or even take another pair. I'm buying a FOURTH set for myself today after my last accident. They are __really__ so comfortable. I just take some time getting them to wrap them in cling film or duct tape or whatever first because I'm (obviously) a water nerd. If there was a way to make them truly waterproof (and not just "sweatproof") they would be perfect headphones, literally.
