Review on 1200LEDs 26000LM Density Non Waterproof Brightness by Tim Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm amazed the entire strip draws just over 2A.

My desk is in a room with poor lighting. I tried three different LED strips on the back of my desk/monitor to illuminate the back wall and avoid eyestrain. Nothing was bright enough before. This alone can almost brighten up an entire room compared to others. The highest density lightbar I've seen yet draws only 2.2A at full brightness. As they run on 12V this equates to around 27W. You can see in the photo that I hooked up my multimeter to test this properly. I use a Meanwell power supply due to its reliability (I don't want to start a fire) and it has no issues with this strip. To be honest I'm shocked at how much light it puts out at such a low wattage. I looked at the specs of similar SMD LEDs and expected that the power consumption would be an order of magnitude higher. Great LED strip. The brightest I've found.

Pros
  • LED strip
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others
