Assembly, sound quality, easy programming, portability, ease of use, everything is fine. For a fraction of the cost, these radios are almost comparable to my Motorola professional radios, which I bought two more for friends and family - mainly to help me shoot my drone. The only issue I have to deal with is access to replacement batteries which are not available or shipped to Hawaii at a very high cost. Works great on amateur band repeaters, simplex and GMRS and all other UHF frequencies within range.
