So I read ssoooo many reviews on these swim shorts and I wasnt sure what to believe. Some people had great success, some didn't.First. I got the black drawstring shorts in a size 24.NORMALLY I am a solid 22/24. At Walmart, I can do a 2x because Terra and sky runs big. At kohls, lands end im a 3x. Bal harbor, a 2x. So it totally depends on cut and brand.I have a big bum, big hips, and my waist is smaller than it used to be. After having kids, I pooch out higher than before kids.So with that said, I have a long torso and shorter legs. If my torso was shorter I would have been fine. The briefs cut up high in the crotch area. It fit around my hips and but, but my lower tummy/fupa would have stuck out if they were just briefs. And because of how they attached to the shorts, there is no pulling and tugging to make sure you feel covered.So someone who may be shorter in the torso/fupa area might have been fine. But I was not comfortable.They stretched fine in the bums and hips. They felt like normal bathing suit material and didn't feel thin or cheap. So if you have a narrow waist and shorter torso, classic hourglass with wider bum and hips, id say you're fine to try this.I ordered another pair from Kohls im praying get here on time because I really need new bottoms. After all said and done, im going to sadly return them
