This tank is about a million miles from our first pet store tank, which held an agonizing half gallon. *I* was unhappy to see my rooster trying to swim in it. This aquarium was a huge improvement. 1.5 gallons so plenty of room and a filter to move the water. FYI it didn't have AC for water or food so you need those things. Also no stones, plants or environmental objects. Also, there is no heater, which is a BASIC must-have for broilers. Once the heater was in place my fish were so much happier! I also have a thermometer so I can see what the temperature in the tank was. My issue with the design is that the lights don't turn off to clean. I've cleaned it twice since we got it and it's been fine, but it would be better if I could remove the light. I love that it has a small filter but just so you know it only comes with one filter so you can order more with your aquarium as it needs to be changed every 2 weeks (Tetra size 1 is mine, PetCo , they were too). The LED lighting makes the tank look nice and the lid is nice with holes for lines and fish feeding. Overall I am happy with this tank. Just make sure you have everything you need (heating, thermometers, rocks, plants, environmental items, groceries, water conditioner) and be aware that cleaning involves working around the world.
