Sometimes there are details in the instructions that may surprise you. The shape of this device is comfortable to hold. It's quite compact, so you can hold it even in small hands. And the device is light enough to hold for a while without tiring. The surface is smooth and shaped to give you easy control over the area you want to focus on. In fact, I found this device more comfortable to use than the more expensive ones. The device has a digital information display that is very easy to read. The display clearly shows important data, including the power level and the number of flashes remaining in the life of the device. Based on our past usage I would say 1 million flashes would be enough! We found that you didn't feel any discomfort at level 1, but it wasn't very effective either. While it's hard to be sure, it seems like you'd have to run this device at level 4 to get enough of the effect. Other more expensive devices we've tested are more efficient at lower tiers. The size and location of the "contact patch" of this device falls somewhere between two more expensive devices. It's a pretty good size and covers a decent amount of skin with each flash. Skin irritation, a kind of burning sensation, is definitely a factor when using this device, so expect it. The most expensive machine we've tried (which also costs five times as much) has technology that helps "cool" the contact area, and it really makes a big difference. EFFICIENCY Already after 3 weeks you will notice the difference with this machine. Hair growth will definitely decrease. But over the same period of time, other areas where we've tested more expensive devices have had more distance and the process has been less painful. So it seems that with this technology, the more you pay, the more efficient and enjoyable it becomes to do it. This device appears to be just as effective as the more expensive devices, it just takes longer to get the same results and the process is more frustrating. 5 times higher than this. Again, more expensive devices offer a faster and more enjoyable experience. Finally, this hair removal device does the trick. I recommend it.
