I only tried it once when my hair was wet and I kept it on for hours and my hair didn't dry out so the perm didn't really work. It had no instructions so I didn't know what I was doing. Hey, I found out later that you can do this with slightly damp hair and it will help hold the curls. I couldn't possibly sleep in these things, but if I was home all day and knew I was going somewhere tonight and had the foresight to use them in the morning, I would be very curious to see how they turned out . . I believe that given enough time they will actually work well!
