Review on 🌈 NEWYES 8.5 Inch LCD Writing Tablet Colorful Robot Pad with Lock Function - Electronic Doodle Pads Drawing Board, Case, and Lanyard - Ideal Gifts for Kids, Pink, Age 3 Months+ by Amy Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality at a great price! Compared to the Jot 8.5 Boogie Board included.

I've been using boogie boards for a while now and my kids have said they enjoy using my boards and would love to have their own (and they keep using mine!). So I tried to find enough colors for my 4 youngest children (14, 12, 11 and 10) and I was disappointed with the variety at Revain. While searching, I came across this much cheaper station wagon and it came in many colors. I received my boards today (in red, blue, black and pink) and went to test them. Comparison Results: (NEWYES Robot Pad 8.5 vs. Jot 8.5 Boogie Board) - the Boogie Board is brighter but I don't see that as a deal breaker as the NEWYES is certainly bright enough. NEWYES has a locking feature that the Boogie Board doesn't have, which is very handy as I often accidentally delete my work. (I don't always use it in portrait mode) -- Both have magnets on the back in the same places -- Both have stylus slots, the NEWYES stylus is reversible with two fairly large nibs, and the Boogie stylus has a thin-rimmed nib . The boogie board is also designed to allow the stylus to be used as a stand, NEWYES does not have this feature as far as I can tell. It's really convenient. They both have cases, but the NEWYES board and case are half the price of a single boogie board, and the case is extra. The body of the NEWYES is a bit thicker. All in all I like both! NEWYES is by far my preferred choice when it comes to value. I 100% recommend the Boogie Board for kids and teens as it feels a bit more durable.
