Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ LAMY AL-Star Black EMR Stylus Digital Writing Instrument - Aluminum, Matt Black Anodized Pen for Tablets, Smartphones, and Notebooks by John Miranda

The pen broke immediately and cannot be repaired

I bought it for over $75 expect a quality product. However, it is made of plastic and has a poor design. The first thing I did was try to stick a Boox pen in it. This broke and immediately blocked the entrance. Tweezers, etc. do not work. It was not possible to remove the pen holder to remove it. Then, as more and more desperate attempts were made to remove the pen, it was found that the stylus' plastic was only slightly harder than the pen's plastic, making efforts to remove it futile. Some people have suggested supergluing the tip or even melting something into the tip to make it easier to pull out. Useless again. A pen worth that much money must have hardened materials and a way to fix this simple and mundane situation. Without it the price is too high.

Pros
  • Based on the LAMY AL star rollerball pen body, the digital input pen was designed for tablets, smartphones and laptops and offers a familiar writing experience with perfect ergonomics
Cons
  • Not bad, but..
