Keyboard fits best with tablet accessories

The keyboard is decent. It's a tiny keyboard, but better than the onscreen keyboard. RGB, keep your expectations in check and think more as the keyboard is dim but fully backlit. I may sound bad on the keyboard, but it's better to say it meets my expectations for a small, cheap keyboard. The touchpad isn't great, but I'm not sure if it's a keyboard or iOS bug. I would have bought it separately and wish I had. The keyboard got 3 instead of 2 stars. Thing is, I've got problems. So I've been buying cheap phone/tablet cases since about 2008 so I'm talking 50/60 cases over the years. Fit and material are the problems. So, the power button/fingerprint reader release is good, the volume is spongy, but it works. The material is a very soft rubber (not TPU) so the perimeter of the case is free around the screen and no matter where you put your hand the iPad will start to pop out. For example, if you hold it horizontally and put it on your lap too quickly, the corner or bottom will pop out. Now, first of all, the lid doesn't fix anything, so it wobbles a lot when standing, practically unusable for use on a sofa instead of a table. Now the lip enclosing it should be very long for the keyboard. But if you use it without a keyboard, it's very annoying. No magnets or anything else to attach, it just dangles. The keyboard is mounted in a more secure position than the iPad. The outer shell is very rubbery. It feels comfortable, but attracts fingers and so on. Never expect it to look clean for more than 1 minute. Now the inside of the flap is a nicely textured material that feels a few notches better than the rest of the materials. Apple Pencil, standard magnets and charger work well. No sleep/wake mode with valve. The extra pencil pocket at the bottom is a thin piece and everything else falls apart because of it. There is a recess for pulling out a pencil. It works, but no matter which valve is in the way. In conclusion, I'm writing this review on Revain after a week of use because I'm buying a case in which I'll keep the keyboard with me. The reality is that the case is equivalent to a $10 case and the keyboard should cost $20 at most. If it was $30 I would still have the same issues but I would get 4 stars and probably not even write about it. Also note this sucker is heavy, expect the case alone to double the weight of the iPad, the keyboard is smaller but overall everything is loaded, it's about as heavy and bulky as my Lenovo 14 inch Laptop.

Pros
  • 7 DETACHABLE BLACK BACKLIT KEYBOARD: Dedicated keyboard and case to toggle between laptop and tablet modes at will. 7 solid backlight colors and three-level brightness adjustment mode, the keyboard is more fashionable to use, and it is also convenient to use the keyboard in low light. Well, the keyboard is not needed now? Just detach and get a lightweight and fully protected leather case.
Cons
  • Something different
