Review on πŸ”Œ ON2NO Hand Mixer Electric: Powerful 450W Handheld Mixer with Turbo, 5-Speed Egg Beater Mixing, Eject Button, and 5 Accessories (Whisk, Beaters, Dough Hooks) in Measuring Storage Case by Josh Hamler

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A blender that should be great but worries me.

This review is a story about two impressions! The first ON2NO hand mixer was delivered on time, looked new and undamaged, so we were very satisfied. I was the first to make cinnamon rolls out of it. I used beaters to mix dry ingredients and then dough hooks for pastry dough. Kneading went well, but the dough was interfering with the machine a bit. I noticed a "hot" smell from the engine, but chalked it up to the faucet, which was new. One of the main reasons I bought this mixer was that it was said to have a powerful 450w motor which led me to believe it could handle the more difficult task of making dough. The 450w motor was listed on the product page description on the Revain website but I could not substantiate this claim as the motor rating was not listed on the blender nameplate or in the instructions that came with it. My wife has used the blender twice more for relatively light blending (whipping cream, beating eggs) but did mention that the engine smell increases and seems to have a hard time even with these light blending jobs. It was almost the end of the 30 day return window so I called Revain to let them know I was concerned the blender was having some issues and was told to return it and send a replacement which I did and one Got replacement in a few days. We've used this new mixer a few times so far and haven't noticed any motor smell or problems when mixing, although I haven't tried making dough with dough hooks yet so the jury's out if the first was the demise of the ON2NO- Hand mixer because of that or because of a broken machine or because of both. So the bottom line for me is that both mixers held up to all the mixing challenges we put them through and neither mixer died, but I'm not entirely sure about the longevity of these mixers.
