I bought 2 of these and they are coming back because I spent 2 hours trying to get this to work! Note. I have brand new Android devices with Android 11 operating system. Pros: 1. Beautiful design like Tile.2. BIG plus with replaceable battery.3. One of the few devices advertised with disconnection alerts (I forgot my bag and my phone warns me). Big deal at airports. Now for the worst and worst: READ THIS! Why does this app need access to call logs and all my contacts, pictures and media on my phone? It should only be for location access and possibly push notifications, but not for anything else, and if you don't allow it access those things won't work properly. I will not allow any Asian app to access all my data on my personal cell phone! CAREFULLY! 1. SOFTWARE IS GARBAGE! You can't force the device to connect and once you do you need access to everything on my phone.2. NOT bi-directional as described. I can't get the phone or device to notify me when it loses BT connection. So if you leave something, it won't notify you, and until you find out what you forgot, it's lost.3. The alarm is very quiet and barely audible on the device. Not many decibels when the tile is in a pocket or bag.4. The app doesn't offer you any settings for naming your personal devices and you can only select a few categories. For the price, tiles do the same job so I'll stick with them.
