This is my first wireless charger. There are things I really like about this charger and just a few cons. The first thing I like is the most obvious one and that is that it is a wireless charger so you can just place your phone on the charger and let it do its thing without having to plug in your phone to charge. Also when the phone is charging, the green light on the bottom is on. Once your phone is fully charged, the indicator will turn blue. I use it with the Samsung Galaxy S7. One downside is that if you have a thick case, you have to take your phone out of the case to charge it. That's my situation and every time I want to charge it I have to take it out of the case which is a bit annoying. The user manual mentions the maximum case thickness which is 3mm or 0.12 inch. It says it won't charge if the thickness is more than 5mm or 0.19inch. The guide also says you can fast charge with the included USB charging cable, which supports Quick Charge 2.0 or Quick Charge 3.0. However, in my testing, I wasn't able to quickly charge the phone using the cable that came with it. I had to use a separate charging cable to enable fast charging. Also, fast charging isn't as fast as if your phone was directly plugged in to charge. I believe this is universal for all wireless charging systems. A direct charging connection will always charge your phone much faster than a wireless charging system. You should also be aware that metal plates on the back of your phone, such as such as a magnetic plate or thumb grip, must be removed prior to charging as this can cause your phone to become very hot and as instructions state they may burn or damage your device.
