Better than I expected. They stayed inflated and my granddaughter continued to play with them long after the birthday they were bought for. Leakage is minimal. I mean it's not an elite soccer ball, not an official buoyancy device, but it can be used for swimming in a pool. We hung them in different poses for a jungle/monkey style party. The curves of the arms, legs, and tail allow them to be hung from a rope (i.e., jungle vines for a party) in a variety of ways. Inflating it takes about the same amount of effort as inflating a beach ball (well, 3 times). . It is made of a beach ball-like material and is about the same thickness. I have purchased items from the seller (Rhode Island Novelties) many times over the years (even before Revain!). They even sent me their quarterly catalog for a while. It's always fun to look at the wild, stupid stuff they sell. These are novelties (e.g. prizes at fairs or carnivals, etc.). The fact is there is one good company that has been around for a while.
