Review on LUFF Men's HD Anti-Blue Light Diamond Cut Edge Frameless Reading Glasses by Brandi Stone

Good, but relatively short service life

I sit in front of a computer almost all day and many evenings. These are the glasses I usually wear for this. I especially like them because they block blue. First, the glasses look nice and are generally comfortable. The nosepads are on flexible, springy arms, rather than fixed arms like most frames, so they won't warp or stretch over time. The downside is that if they don't quite fit your nose, they don't really adjust. Cons: The first pair I bought lasted about a year. When they finally broke, they broke where those cheap over-the-counter frames usually break: the shackle breaks in the front, very close to the hinge, where they take the most stress when putting on and taking off. I also have a wide head, so mine constantly puts extra strain on the joint while wearing them. Generally good points. Since these are cheap OTC frames, I'm not too discouraged by their breakage. Assuming they would last for years, I would pay an optometrist over $300 for titanium frame reading glasses. I only keep spares so if they break I can just grab another pair. Having to keep backups effectively doubles the price of these glasses. At this price, they're approaching the high end of what you would normally pay for OTC reading glasses. I'd say the price is quite fair given the light weight, blue blocker, anti-reflective coating, and comfortable attachments. I deduct one point for the inconvenience of having to stock replacement parts because of a broken bracket. Also, these are the best version of OTC reading glasses I've tried.
