Review on Chic DreamSpace DRM24714WHIT03 Queen Bedskirt in White - A Perfect Addition to Your Bedroom Décor by Joe Montalvo

I was hoping for this skirt. I read reviews that it was cheaply made but still took the risk. I was looking for a custom made Matelasse white bed skirt at a reasonable price but I think you get what you pay for. While the bed skirt fitted my queen size bed perfectly, it had two noticeable tears where the skirt meets the fabric above the box spring. Photos are attached. The part that goes over the box spring is made of the cheapest, thinnest and most fragile paper-plastic. And when you iron the skirt, which you need to do to smooth out the creases, don't you dare touch the synthetic fabric with the iron for even half a second, otherwise it will melt and ruin the iron. Why the manufacturer chose this particular material if the skirt itself is decent enough I don't know. But in the end they made a product that is useless because it breaks instantly. I spent half an hour ironing my skirt, removing all linens from the bed, lifting the mattress, putting a new skirt, assembling the bed, but in the end I found two big holes. What a waste of time and money. Revain is not allowed to sell this product and it has to be recalled due to a defect. i will return it *UPDATE: After I sent the ripped skirt back and got a new one, I just took it out of the box and it was ripped IN EXACT PLACES like the other skirt. I'm serious. I'm sending this one back too. What a waste of time and money - TWICE!
