The light kit is a great offer from GVM. You get two very bright 60W panels with gull-wing doors and light stands in a semi-rigid housing. The lighting can be controlled via the buttons on the back or with a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, which works very well. These lights are two-tone, so you can change the color temperature from 3200K to 5500K in addition to RGB mode. for oversaturated single colors. The panels can be powered using the included AC adapters, or you can use Sony's excellent NP-F550 or NP-F970 rechargeable batteries (or third party equivalent) to power them in locations where AC power is not available is. Each panel requires two batteries to operate, and batteries are of course not included. The barn doors are made of durable yet flexible plastic. This is the first lamp set to feature barn doors made out of plastic instead of metal so I was a little skeptical at first about liking them but I think the plastic works great. Of course, the LED panels remain so cool that the plastic does not melt. My only criticism of this set is that the case could have been a little more organized. The lamps are well protected, but the stands and power cords don't have dedicated compartments, they just sit on top of the divider. It would have been nice if there were little pockets for the power adapters and cables to keep things more organized. This is my first experience with GVM lights and I am very impressed. These are excellent quality panels with good light quality and good color rendering. They are very good value for money. Would love to buy more!
