This pillow does the job of laying face down on a sun lounger by the pool or beach. I think the face hole is big enough even for a medium to large face. And of course enough air circulates through the channels on the underside of the pillow. The pressure from the edge of the opening on the forehead and chin can become uncomfortable after about 15 minutes, but you can alleviate this by changing your position slightly. The main reason I deducted two stars is because the general upward angle of the pillow causes my head to move backwards, which puts pressure on my neck after about 20-25 minutes. This is better than lying face down and turning your head 90 degrees left or right, but it still causes pain in the neck. On the other hand, the massage chair is designed in such a way that the upper body and neck can be bent slightly forward when lying on your stomach, which prevents this problem. But I don't think this position can be reproduced with any type of wedge pad.
