Review on Organic Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil by Leven Rose – 100% Pure, Cold Pressed, Unrefined Anti-Aging Acne Treatment for Hair, Skin, and Nails – 1 oz by Holly Hernandez

Although I have been making my own beauty products for many years, I have never used sea buckthorn oil. I've heard about it and its benefits, but few vendors sell it. I'm always on the lookout for new oils to try, mostly as I have relatively dry skin, especially during the winter, and also because I love creating new beauty blends. I am very impressed with the color and consistency of the oil, a nice deep red and quite thick, a sign of high quality. It has a more earthy aroma, but it's relatively subtle. Always beware of carrier oils like this that are odorless, if you are looking for high quality, with maximum beauty or health benefits, cold pressed should always have some color and natural smell. Which impressed me more than it seems obvious. The quality is that when I applied it to a test area of skin it absorbed immediately and left no real oil behind. Normally you should add a wax emulsifier to help absorb carrier oils, or at least apply them to wet skin, but this particular oil seems to do just fine without them. Very happy with my new product and I will definitely buy from this supplier again.
