Looked like a used quilt

My quilt arrived with no packaging or tags. It only came in an Amazon box, not even a plastic bag. There was also no tag or anything sewn on so I knew how to wash the blanket or what it was made of. Almost all textiles are required by law to have these labels, right? So did someone cut it? It was strange. This, combined with the blanket thrown in the box and no branding or packaging, basically looks like something you would buy at a flea market. I don't know where it was.
