I bought this because I needed a new adapter for my ethernet port and I also need a USB hub with it USB connection required. Port C. My laptop has 3 regular USB ports and one USB-C, so I thought this would be a great way to free up other ports. I've been using it for a few weeks and haven't had any problems with the ethernet port so far. However, the USB ports seem to work, especially when I connect a keyboard. I type something and pause for a minute, then when I try to type again, nothing happens. My keyboard is still on (highlighted), but pressing the keys does nothing. If you turn it off and on again, everything is fine for a while, but then again. So, I connected the keyboard to a regular USB port for now.
