I upgraded my HP Envy 750-114 power supply and after installing the power supply and making all the connections I found that I no longer have the correct cable to connect to my DVD/ CD drive had . Apparently HP uses a special cable (their cable) that doesn't fit the new PSUs. Anyway, I found out about this adapter and immediately ordered it for same day delivery. As soon as it arrived I plugged in the adapter, the HP cable, added the SATA cable and hooked it up to power. Did. Now everything works. Many Thanks.
