I really like these. On the internet I saw a recommendation to put "Folk Art's Metallic Gold Finish Acrylic Paint" in the bottle to paint thin gold lines. It's been perfect every time and I love it so much. However, I can say that when using acrylic, sometimes the tip dries out a bit and you either have to squeeze the bottle to pull it out, or poke the dried pieces out with a needle from the other side. Always keep the bottle closed. The lid has a needle that goes into the syringe to keep the paint wet which is great too. Sometimes you have to get used to squeezing as you can squeeze out too much paint and it gets sticky. Test on another sheet of paper before applying. Really great purchase that I continue to recommend and use often!
