I have a couple of devices hanging around my rearview mirror and each one requires 5V power from one of those micro USB adapters. Now I could run two cords down the sides of the windshield and decorate my space with black cords, or I could just pull one through and then separate it. Well, I chose the latter. This small splitter allows you to connect multiple devices. It's not made for syncing things - just power. and it doesn't generate any more power, so you need to make sure you're not exceeding the wattage of whatever you're pulling it from (probably a built-in USB port in a suboptimal space, or a 12V outlet). so i wish the auto industry would ship some usb ports alongside a reading mirror, but i won't hold my breath until they do. I would turn blue and pass out.
