Fabric scratchy and unwearable after washing once

These pants appeared to be fantastic but I was duped. They were so soft upon arrival. Washed them in cold water and hung to dry and the fabric came out pilled, scratchy and unwearable. What a disappointment. They were clearly coated in a fabric softener of some kind.

The ripped areas may expose unwanted skin or undergarments

I opened these and they were inside out, shoved into a broken bag and had what appears to be pet hair on them and they smell awful. I didn’t even try them on. So grossed out.
