The product description states that the tape adhesive is very strong and the longer it is used the stickier it gets. I used this to wrap around 1 inch base PVC pipe to mimic candy cane stripe. While I didnt completely wrap the tape all the way around the base of the PVC pipe, I did wrap it nearly 270 degrees around the base. At first the tape seemed to stick to the PVC but 2 hours later, the ends of the tape started to lift up and separate from the PVC pipe. I even tried a hair dryer on it because the temp in my garage was 60 degrees but I still had the tape lifting up from the PVC. The tape appeared to be high quality, just not good to use on PVC pipe for adhesion purposes.
