If you pay $40 for a pair of tweezers you can go all the way and have them gold plated And seriously the gold plating encourages me to treat them Carefully put them back on, put the rubber thing back on and put them back in their own container rather than just putting them somewhere they could get scratched or tip over which is why I had to buy a new pair in the first place. After messing up my previous Rubis tweezers by dropping them too often, I got these not because I really wanted gold, but because they shipped the fastest and I needed them ASAP. Now I am very happy that I got the gold.
