Silky toes: These socks are great - very soft and the stitching on the toes bothers my 6 year old not old granddaughter who usually complains and wears socks inside out. Girls shoe size 1. Based on the reviews I bought the small size which fits perfectly. When washed and tumble dried they looked like they had shrunk and never fit her. However, my granddaughter liked them so much that she insisted on wearing them. She put them on (anticipating a complaint that they were too tight) and found that they fitted her leg well. No complaints about wearing, no slipping or other issues - yes! She wore them for over 4 weeks. I ordered another pack of Silky Toes but ordered the next size up (medium) which looked quite large on arrival. I washed them and now I look in size. She has been wearing medium sized socks for a few weeks which, thanks to the stretch, fit her growing foot perfectly. Socks in both sizes are still soft and don't pill or stretch, even after multiple washes. Will definitely buy again.
