Ice packs that don't get cold!

I bought this product hoping that the cold would relieve the pain in my knee that extends to my hip. I'm having surgery next month so you know it's serious. These little round packets of pearls never get cold, I hoped. After being in the freezer for 18 hours I was able to use them for about 15 minutes for pain relief and then they were about room temperature. I am extremely disappointed. I usually rate what I get from Revain as a 4 or 5. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.
