I bought this chair because of the back height which is a nice feature and the recline of the chair is good too. But there are far more disadvantages than advantages. First, the padding on the bottom has always been a bit thin. It's a mixed blessing in the sense that once you get used to it you don't have to worry about the upholstery breaking like you would if you bought a cheap Staples chair or something and the upholstery is great at first but gets flat. . very fast. The padding on the arms, while starting out well, quickly broke down. I love that you can raise or lower the armrests, but now I mostly just leave them up as they're not that comfortable anymore. Eventually, after only owning it for about 9 months, the stool starts to sink on its own. For me it's always the kiss of death behind the chair. It started very rarely a month or so ago but now it happens all the time. In short, stay away from this chair. You might as well buy a cheap chair elsewhere as it will cost less and last about the same. Update: One of the side screws just sheared off. This chair didn't even last a year in its already reduced condition.
