My daughter has had this blanket for over 2 years now and she uses it to sleep in daycare every day. We wash every week according to instructions. Washes well and is relatively soft for the material. The fabric creases a bit, but it's not very noticeable (square anyway). The strange thing is that very hard little round pieces have formed in the ceiling. I'm not sure what they are, but they are in the corners of the quilt and are solid. I suspect it's something from the lining, but I don't know what.
