UPDATE: The small valve issue is there no longer a problem. After the first climbs there were no more problems. It was so new that it made it more difficult at first. And — the metal clip is still attached!—————————————————————————— Like many others, I find that this case offers amazing protection and shock absorption for my JBL. It turns on quickly, fits snugly, and provides access to all buttons on the top. I have just one small problem. When I needed to charge the speaker, I couldn't lift the connector on the access port without partially removing the cover. The hole is made so perfectly that there is (literally) no wiggle room to put your finger in to lift it. To be honest, I only had the case for a few days and had to charge it once. Maybe it will get easier with more tries. i am optimistic Regardless, I still think it's a great speaker protector that I adore. And no, I didn't have a problem with the metal clip breaking - it's still attached!
