Over the years I have used tons of XLR cables from well known brands like Whirlwind and Peavey. Like everyone else who is in a cable problem, I also used a few unnamed generic XLRs. Before I pick up this Lyx Pro cable, I would like to tell you that the Peavey cables were the best I have ever used. Now that I used this cable, I'm no longer sure. First I connected the cables to the different microphones. Regardless of which microphone I tried, the connections * were very * solid and did not wiggle at all. The LYX PRO connections are undoubtedly the most durable connections I have ever used, and I know that I don't need any adhesive tape on the top of the connection to make the connection to the microphone secure. The cable itself is of excellent quality and feels pleasant. It bends a little if you use it when you move it back and forth in a confined space, but I have not noticed any of these problems when I used the cable in a larger room. Overall, these are great cables and I would buy them again at any time and recommend it to everyone.
