I just received these clips and started using them for a lifetime, I can't speak to them but I ordered them for my young children's clothes hangers . , for $1.50 each at Walmart for clip-on hangers, seemed worth a try. The tension they feel seems strong enough to withstand children playing in the closet, they move a little on the hanger but not after I put the clothes on. A couple of times I've felt a pop or creak(?) when clipping them around the hanger, at least none of them are broken so maybe just the plastic is new - there were 100 clips in the package I received , so I can't imagine needing them for a while but I would recommend this product based on the price versus the quality I've seen so far.
