It is advertised as leather. No, that is not so. This is man-made, synthetic, but NOT REAL leather. It has a terrible chemical smell. The card slots are very deep, so it is difficult to see which card is in the slot. I bought because of the card capacity but I can't get over the smell. And it's definitely not worth $19.99. Maybe $9.99. Total spend $$. Honestly I can't tell you about longevity or what to give as a gift because I would never give someone something that smelled so awful. I will not wear it and will definitely send it back.
