I bought this case for a trip and chose it because it fits my 9.7 inch iPad. (Large size) At the airport, just as I was about to remove my bag to hang on my seat belt, I noticed that the belt started to loosen and break. I rushed to get through the security system and found it hanging by a thread before anyone else had a chance to attend to it. When we got to our destination I had to buy some safety pins to hold it together. When we got back from the trip my husband asked me if I would return it and I said I would just sew the strap on when I got it. Coincidence and let him work with safety pins in the meantime. It was a mistake I made, I had to return it before it was past the return date. Tonight I tried to sew the strap back onto the bag and did it with the thickest padding thread. I wanted to make sure it was stable and comfortable. After a few cycles and iterations, I decided that everything will be fine now. And he got up and shook it quickly, and he stood there for a while, and then immediately the purse fell to the ground. The strong thread is still attached to the top of the wallet but the strap came loose to allow the thread to pass through and now my bag is off the strap again. Such a pain! Not sure if I'll try to get another strap or find a way to keep this one from unraveling. Or just buy another bag somewhere else. I gave it two stars because it is very large and fits the iPad 9.7 inch. It's roomy and waterproof. However, this only lasted a few days before the tape came loose on its own, and it doesn't seem to hold up to even light abuse and weight. I wish the strap was better! It's a shame.
