Review on πŸ“± Logitech K480: Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard with Phone Holder for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS by (seo joon) ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality, not a great product.

More memo to myself - setting up language switching on Android Moto G5: 1. download regular software from Logitech from Google Play. 2. add a layout from Logitech in the settings (the software itself offers) and restart the smart. 3. in the Android settings (System - Languages \u200b\u200b- Physical Keyboard) set one language for Gboard, and another language for the Logitech Keyboard. 4. Now the language switching will work in hardware using Shift+Space. Important: After disconnecting the keyboard from smart and reconnecting it - long tap on the spacebar and select Logitech Keyboard on the screen - only after that the hardware switching works again. And so every time. It connects and reconnects to McMini (2022) without any complaints. But switching the language is Ctrl+Space.

Pros
  • Design - I like it (in black version). Functionality - docking station, switching wheel for 3 synchronized devices. AAA battery power. The price is much cheaper than regular Samsungs and Apples.
Cons
  • The keys are tight (you just need to hammer them - a lot of characters that cannot be printed right away) and they click very cheaply (like on the most shabby Chinese) - this is the main disappointment :( The weight and dimensions are slightly larger than expected. Not very suitable as a carrier. Switching languages on Android is very specific, and does not work out of the box.
