Review on Hoots Naturals Organic Butter Fragrance by Melissa Perez

Arrived on time about a week ago. I've been using it almost every other day since then, and while I don't have a long beard, Hoot's has seen a definite improvement. It doesn't itch or flake anymore, and maybe it's just me, but I'm sure the hair has softened a bit. It melts easily in your hands and little is needed; especially if you use it right after a shower - I've used it with and without a shower; it doesn't seem to matter. One thing I really like is that the jar is almost twice the size of any other brand. 3.5 oz might not sound like much, but considering I'm using a scraper that just covers my thumbnail you can probably guess how long the jar will last. However, when the day comes when it's empty, I plan to order more Hoot's. If I had to highlight one thing I didn't like, it would be the smell. I think the balm is beeswax based so it has quite a waxy smell but I'm used to it and it still fades quickly; maybe 10 minutes or so. This is the first balm I've used so I can't compare it to any other brand but I'm very happy with my purchase and very happy with the results.
