These 59 inch rails were really good quality and the best price I could find. I really wanted them to work. Unfortunately I had to send them back as they didn't fit my bed. We only have one rollaway mattress with a 2 inch border that protrudes from the bottom of the mattress. The 90 degree seams are thick and there was enough room to fit a pole between the mattress and frame, but since the bed doesn't press against the walls I really needed poles on each side. I gave my sister one for her crate innerspring mattress and it works great. She has saved my 8 month old niece from falling out of bed twice already. It is possible that your baby will get trapped between the gate and the mattress, so be careful! Also, I can almost lower the rails with one hand while holding the baby. I would always get in and out of the bed at the bottom so that wouldn't be a problem for me.
