I upgraded my rating to 4 after the seller contacted me about sending me a replacement unit. Maybe mine was just from a bad batch so I'm looking forward to using a new one. Our monthly ski club meetings have been canceled due to Covid-19 but we hope to be back in the fall after our regular summer break. First feedback: It doesn't seem to be getting a good sound. Maybe it's the orientation of the receiver or using an unbalanced input. It didn't really work for my application; as a simple portable microphone system for connection to an active speaker. I have a Pyle UHF single mic system with balanced and unbalanced output. I try to use the balanced output as it sounds better and produces more volume. However, it must be plugged into an outlet, and then connected to the speaker with an amplifier using a different cable. However, the setup is more reliable than this Bluetooth mic, and using a cable means I can move the receiver around if the mic's incoming signal isn't getting through properly. This is not possible with a Bluetooth receiver. I could try using some sort of extension cord, but I would be concerned if the signal provided by the battery could provide enough signal not to be affected by the extra cord length.
