Insulating properties

The insulating properties are very low. The insulation itself is about an eighth of an inch thick and is foil coated on both sides. I know this because I'm modifying this case to cover the horizontal lead and add a velcro strap as a method of closure through a slot in the pocket to the bottom of the case. I believe this case is listed as 1.5 inches thick. This is probably the full thickness of the cover. This insulation cover is not used in cold weather because the sprinkler system fails. Another insulating bag I have is about 3 inches thick on each side but much shorter.
