I have a magnetic phone mount on my car dashboard and have been using regular Apple cables for a long time, which then get pinched when the phone is on the mount in the car. This cable allows me to stop damaging other cables and charges great! Works great and I haven't had any performance issues with it. The reason I'm giving this review 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn't work for all phone cases. My friend wanted to charge and play music but his Otter phone case would not allow the charger to be plugged in. Otherwise very happy with the purchase. I will buy again and recommend.
